The semantic implications of motivation in university sports managers based on the teachings of the Qur'an

Abstract

The aim of this research was the semantic implications of motivation in university sports managers based on the teachings of the Quran. The research method is of fundamental-developmental type, which was conducted based on the qualitative content analysis method. The statistical population of this research was all the verses of the Holy Quran, and the samples of this research were the verses related to the concept of motivation, and the themes related to motivation management were determined by analyzing the text of the verses of the Holy Quran. The method of data collection was also based on library documents, which were identified with the strategy of "lexical search" and "open text reading". Jame Al-Tafaseer software was used to find the desired items. Based on the results of the research, the identified motivational concepts related to sports organizations are: the motivations of the desire to progress, competition and superiority, altruism, human dignity and religiosity, truth-seeking, patience and perseverance, collectivism, and the motivation to seek knowledge, learning motivation, order and planning, supervision and control, consultation and advice, having, will, work and employment, social solidarity, social justice, social responsibility, social synergy and jihadi spirit.
