Peer Review Process

The review of the articles in The  Journal of University Management, is a double-blind peer review (the identity of the authors and the reviewers are not known to both parties).

The reviewers are obliged to judge the article within the specified period of time and based on the policies and instructions of the Journal.

Each article is reviewed by at least two expert reviewers in the relevant subject area.

 

Steps to review articles

  1. When the author submits the article to the Journal, in the first stage, the article will be reviewed by the Journal's experts in terms of compliance with the guideline (within one week to ten days at most). Dear authors! please note that in order to speed up the reviewing process, before submitting the article, carefully read the Guide for Authors and prepare and submit the article accurately based on the guideline available in Journal's page. Articles that are sent to the Journal via e-mail or ways other than the Journal's website will not be included in the review process).
  2. If an article is accepted in the first stage, it will be evaluated in the second stage in terms of the quality of the content and relevance of the topic by the editor, specialized secretary and the scientific committee. This stage usually lasts a week to ten days.
  3. Checking the article in terms of plagiarism and similarity through Samim Noor's Similarity Platform; it should be noted that only the articles that qualify in step 2 will be checked, otherwise the article will be rejected or referred to the author for revision.
  4. Sending the article to at least 2 expert viewers in the subject area of the article.
  5. Announcement of the review result to the author (rejection/need for revision)
  6. Pursuing revision of articles by authors
  7. Sending the revised article to the comparative reviewer (acceptance/rejection)
  8. Announcing the result of the comparative reviewer to the author (acceptance/rejection)
  9. Sending the acceptance letter to the author
  10. Authors whose articles are accepted must pay the amount of six million Rials for the costs of editing and printing the article via the Journal's page to the account of the University's Research Deputy.
  11. Including the article in the section of articles accepted for publication
  12. Only one article will be published from each author per year. Please refrain from sending multiple articles simultaneously.
  13. The waiting time for articles to be printed depends on the number of approved articles (approximately a year).
