Identifying the skills needed by the faculty members of Allameh Tabatabai University in order to empower them

Abstract

In order to empower faculty members and solve possible problems and obstacles, we can take steps to plan and evaluate skills training and improve quality. Considering the importance of this issue, the purpose of this research was to identify and examine the skills needed by the faculty members of Allameh Tabatabai University in order to empower them. The current research is qualitative in terms of its nature, in terms of the library and field study, based on the research objective, it is fundamental and in terms of the time of data collection, it is cross-sectional. Also, the interview data analysis method is thematic analysis. The general statistical population of research documents, university professors, specialists and informants who were familiar with the learning center and faculty members and the maximum sample of research documents obtained, including articles, dissertations, reports and research plans from 2000 to 2022, which are most relevant It was selected with the topic of research. In the current research, after interviewing 8 people, theoretical saturation was achieved in the data collection in the learning center of the university faculty members, based on which 5 main codes representing the dimensions of empowerment and 9 central codes representing the components of the dimensions were obtained. is identified. Also, the number of 50 open codes was determined, which was reduced to 28 after the merger. The most important findings of the research after a detailed review of the domestic and foreign literature and background and conducting interviews with experts and experts in the fields related to the empowerment of faculty members are the skills needed by faculty members of Allameh Tabatabai University in order to empower them. According to the findings of the research and comparison with the conducted researches that are mentioned in the background of the research, the findings of the research are based on the dimensions, the skills needed by the faculty members of Allameh Tabatabai University in the direction of empowerment in three dimensions (social factors - economic factors - educational factors) were identified. In this research, an attempt was made to identify and explain the skills needed by faculty members with a comprehensive view in order to empower the faculty members in a way that can be utilized and used by those interested and researchers in this field.
