Compilation of Sports Development Strategies in Farhangian University Based on a Comprehensive Model of Developing Strategy

Abstract

The purpose of the present research was to compile sports development strategies of Farhangian University based on the comprehensive model of developing strategy. The research method was mixed (qualitative and quantitative). The statistical population consisted of 84 heads of Farhangian University campuses, experts including the general director of physical education and deputies and experts of the general administration, and specialists and elites in the field of physical education in Farhangian University. The initial list of the existing situation after the interviews and finalization in the meetings of the strategic council was made in the form of a researchermade questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed by the professors and experts of sports management, and its reliability was 0.78. became In order to develop strategies, internal and external factors evaluation matrix, SWAT matrix and appropriate statistical tests such as descriptive statistics, binomial test, Friedman test and quantitative matrix of strategic planning were used. The results showed that the General Department of Physical Education of Farhangian University is in an aggressive position from the point of view of the strategic situation; Allocation of budget and sports allowance for students in order to benefit from free sports facilities and develop sports talents and participation of human resources in extra hours, using the potentials available in the general department of physical education in decision-making in order to expand sports activities and competitions in Farhangian University and finally using sports facilities and spaces for the development of physical education was one of the most important strategies.
