Relationship of professional ethics and organizational health with the quality of work life of faculty members at Farhangian University

Abstract

The current research was conducted with the aim of evaluating professional ethics and organizational health and its relationship with the quality of work life of faculty members of Farhangian University. The research method is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of data collection method. The statistical population included all faculty members of Farhangian University, among whom 201 people were selected by simple random sampling method and were asked Walton's Quality of Work Life Questionnaire, Huey and Feldman's Organizational Health Questionnaire, and Professional Ethics Questionnaire based on The components of various researches had been obtained, they answered. Content and construct validity were used to determine the validity of the questionnaireKeywords: structural relationships, knowledge management, student entrepreneurship, organizational culture. Also, the reliability of the questionnaire was evaluated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (professional ethics "0.92", organizational health "0.84" and quality of work life "0.81"). The results showed that the state of professional ethics and all components of professional ethics, except for the component of justice, which is in the average level of the hypothetical average of the research, is above average. Also, the state of organizational health, except for the components of institutional cohesion and resource support, which is not significantly different from the hypothetical average of the research, is higher than the hypothetical average of the research in other dimensions.
