Identifying and prioritizing obstacles to the implementation of hospital information systems in Razi Qaimshahr hospital based on the Fuzzy Dimtel technique
The present study has been conducted to identify and prioritize the barriers to implementing hospital information systems in Razi Hospital, Ghaemshahr based on the fuzzy DEMATEL technique. The present study is an applied research based on its purpose and is classified as a qualitative research based on its data collection method. The statistical population of the present study consists of hospital experts who have at least 20 years of management experience and experts in the field of hospital information systems. A total of 25 experts were selected as a sample through screening and systematic sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the fuzzy Delphi and fuzzy DEMATEL techniques. The research findings showed that the barriers to implementing hospital information systems in Razi Hospital, Ghaemshahr include educational barriers including 12 barriers, financial barriers with 8 barriers, and technical barriers with seven barriers that have played a role in implementing hospital information systems in Razi Hospital, Ghaemshahr. According to the results obtained, it is suggested that the financial barriers to implementing hospital information systems through the government be removed and the necessary infrastructure be created to implement this useful system in the organization.
